Abstract:
This research focuses on the characterization of Bryan Mills in Taken 1 Film directed by Pierre Morel. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method to examine and describe the data. The objectives of the study are to analyze the characterization based on Joseph and Dennis' theory (2002). As the result, 1) Characterization through appearance: Bryan Mills is loving her daughter and he protect the women. 2) Characterization Through Dialogue: Bryan Mills is Friendly Man and a good Father. 3) Characterization through Action: Bryan Mills save a singer and rescue the woman.
