Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the values of Bung Tomo's struggle and its use as a source
of character education in history learning. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research.
Research data collection method, using literature study. The sources in this study were obtained from
various literature, such as books, research reports, and articles published in scientific journals or
proceedings. The results show that there are 8 exemplary values from Bung Tomo's struggle that can
be used as a source of character education, such as religious values, nationalism, patriotism, love for
the homeland, self-sacrifice, hard work, democracy, and social care. Its application in learning can be
taught to compulsory history class XI students in Basic Competence 3.10 by incorporating the values
of Bung Tomo's struggle with character education in the syllabus and Learning Implementation Plan,
carrying out the history learning process in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan, and
learning is carried out using the appropriate learning strategies.
