Abstract: In recent years, the continuous decline of China's birth rate has become the focus of academic attention.
Studying house prices and the birth status of residents in the same framework will help to explore the
role of house prices in household micro-asset allocation, help to find effective measures to curb the
unreasonable rise of house prices, and achieve the purpose of adjusting the number of population and
structure. The results of the study found that house prices have a significant negative impact on the
birth rate and the excessive growth of house prices has a significant inhibitory effect on the birth status
of residents.
