Abstract:
This research is about the Anak Dalam Tribe in the Sarolangun area of Jambi Province called Orang Rimba. The Orang Rimba live in groups led by Tumenggung (Traditional head) Tumengung serves to solve problems that occur between them. Tumenggung which is experiencing foraging is the Tumenggung Tarib. It is can be seen when the grand tour was carried out to the location where he lived. Social changes that occur in terms of religion, economic and social life of the Tumenggung Tarib group. The social changes that occur are influenced by environmental factors, technology and modernization from outside. This change has resulted in the life of the Tumenggung Tarib and its groups getting an inner peace.
