Abstract: Learning history should teach the example of the current generation, especially about the history of
Indonesian women leaders and organizations during the National Movement, such as Aisyiyah. If the
past is explained unbalanced and androcentric it will reproduce further inequalities. The objectives of
this study are: (1) to find out the history of women leaders and organizations during the national
movement, especially Aisyiyah and its implications for history learning; (2) to find out the
understanding of teachers and students about the history of women leaders and organizations during
the National Movement; and (3) the implementation of a history learning model with a feminist
pedagogical approach at MAN 5 Cirebon. the results of this study indicate that this learning model
can provide historical awareness and improve gender equity |
